League of Innovators was a new non-profit dedicated to fostering entrepreneurialism in youth. They needed an logo and identity system that would appeal to their millennial audience but still have the professional polish to appeal to investors and donors.

Inspired by the classic notion of an entrepreneur sketching their big idea on the back of a napkin, we developed a series of “doodles” that could be used in various brand touch points. These have a youthful energy and the loose style communicates the entrepreneurial notion – don’t wait for it to be perfect. Just do it.
A duotoned photography style was developed to complement the illustrative element. This style is not only distinct and allows for a strong presence of brand colours, but is also a forgiving treatment to visually unify photography that may be coming from multiple different sources. The photography standards also require that photography be natural, casual and when all possible active.
