League of Innovators is a national Canadian charity established to foster entrepreneurial acumen for youth, at scale across regions. They provide youth under the age of 25 with the programs, training and tools to create a foundation in entrepreneurialism and innovation. They needed a logo and identity system that would appeal to their target (millennial) audience while retaining sophisticated elements that could be leveraged in investor and donor decks.

All about the idea.
Inspired by the classic notion of an entrepreneur sketching their big idea on the back of a napkin, we developed a series of “doodles” that could be used in various brand touch points. These have a youthful energy and the loose style communicates a core entrepreneurial notion—don’t wait for it to be perfect. Just do it.
A dual-toned photography style was developed to complement the illustrative element. This style is not only distinct and allows for a strong presence of brand colours, but is also a forgiving treatment to visually unify photography that may be coming from multiple sources. The photography standards also require that photography be natural, casual and, when possible, active.
