I worked with Guerboise Creative (a collective of freelancers) on creating a new website for the Calgary Folk Music Festival. The folk fest is so much more than a singular event, but a cornerstone summer festival, a multi-venue winter music festival and ongoing series of talks, performances and support for local arts. They needed a website that would cater to all these needs and really shine a spotlight on the artists they support.

They also pair with a different local artist for every event. This required a site that would be engaging, but act as a frame for highlighting the artists and their work. To pair with the art-centric feel we developed an illustration style to be used throughout to complement what was there and convey crucial information in a visual way.
